In four years we achieved the goal and then some: 75+ Skateboards have been given out to youth who needed a start at skateboarding.
The overall goal of ‘The Renew Skateboard Project’ is to provide youth that don’t have the means to acquire a skateboard with one, through a recycling program. Local skateboarders can donate their unused and spare parts to the community, and boards will be assembled with the best parts. These renewed skateboards will have a chance to bring the creativity and freedom of skateboarding to someone new. It will promote a more active lifestyle, a challenging hobby and a persistent mind.
The Renew Project is a non-profit. All the donated and assembled skateboards will be given for free to those in need.
Financial donations can be made, and all donations will be 100% used to buy skateboard parts.
